SE Asian Moths Drepanidae (Hooktip Moths, False Owlet Moths)

Only a handful of moths have evolved to camouflage as a small bracket fungus. This remarkable moth goes one step further. Certain groups of flies visit bracket fungi for the purposes of using the fungi as a food source for their larvae. Often these flies bear reddish brown eyes. The impression I get here is two red-eyed flies meeting on a white bracket fungus. From an anthropomorphic artistic point of view the pattern reminds me of a victorious negroid boxer bearing winners cape and raising both gloves in a statement of “I am the greatest”
